We just returned back to the beach house after three (!) intense days at Disney World. Thanks to a military discount pass, we could spend three days at three parks for the price of one. First day was at Magic Kingdom, second day at Disney Studios and third day at Animal Kingdom. That's a lot of fun in few days:)
Nick's number one thing was to go on as many roller coaster rides as possible. Even Clara and Hanna went on many while their whimpy mom was scared from just looking. There was one ride, though, that not even Nick would go on. It was called The Tower of Terror, where you went 10 stories up in an elevator and then just fell through the air in the dark all the way down. When we got back home last night, Nick was very impressed to hear that his 80 year old grandma went on the ride last year. Needless to say the kids have newborn respect for their grandma!
Other highlights were the American Idol Experience where tourists could compete in a mock TV show. We saw the show three times in one day. The prize for the person who won was a pass to compete in the real American Idol. Keep an eye out for Derek Smith next season, he won and he was very good.
Anyways, it was all fun but I am happy to be back here by the beach watching the waves roll in.
