We're in sunny California right now, enjoying time with family (Bob's brothers Mike and Jimmy and sisters-in-law Jane and Mary Lynne and their kids.) Our kids enjoy playing with their cousins. The kids had fun feeding and chasing seagulls and playing football outside.
Clara received an e-mail from her friend at school who informed her that Briarcrest had the day off due to a teachers in service day. Therefore our kids got the day off from home schooling (I hope that was true, I never checked:)
Instead we walked down to Second Street which is a great area filled with shops and restaurants. We had lunch at Taco Surf, our favorite Mexican place and I had my first Starbucks coffee in almost three weeks. You can take me out of Seattle but you can't take Seattle out of me.
