The excitement continues! Today Bob and Nick woke the rest of us up with the news that there was a stranded dolphin on the beach right outside the house. We rushed down and sure enough, there he was. When we got to the scene people from the Turtle Rescue Society were already there. Soon SeaWorld staff came and while we were waiting for a truck to come we helped keep the dolphin wet as well as shaded.The truck came with a saltwater pool in the back to take the dolphin to Miami for treatment. It was a very exciting day and it seems like the dolphin is going to make it!
The dolphin was 8'3" long (253cm!)
