Alligator Alley

Today we went on an air boat ride on the St John's River. Grandma came with us and it was a fast (and loud!) boat ride but the driver stopped so we could spot the alligators up close. We must have seen 60 alligators. Apparently they can be up to a 100 years old in the wild and grow to be 12 feet long and 600 lbs heavy!

Our guide said that there were life jackets if we wanted them but that we wouldn't need them. If we fell over board the alligators would eat us before anyone could save us! Very reassuring!

Tonight we look forward to watching a rocket launch from Kennedy Space Center. We will have front row seats from the beach outside the house.

Seams like this place is real nice and a great start. I remember going to DL with the kids when they were the same age as N, C, H, and that was fun! The beach house sounds great. Enjoy!
